Synopsis:
TEMPTATION NEVER TASTED SO SWEET...

When life hands lemons to Beth Beverley, she makes mouthwatering lemon squares. Mostly because they're coveted by the sexy single dad who owns Belmont's most popular coffee shop. But that's where her crush on Griffin has to end. Her sweet treats are selling like crazy cakes in his shop, and she doesn't mix business with pleasure. Too bad his sinful smile has her flirting with the idea of forever.

Griffin Hall definitely needs to keep his eyes--and his hands--off Beth. Since he's traded in late-night gigs and partying for bedtime stories with his little girl in his arms, he doesn't have time for anything else. So why does Beth's big heart and easy way with his daughter make him finally feel alive again? But there's a little secret Beth doesn't know, something he can't bear to tell her . .

This is an adorable little romance in a small beach town. Beth was quirky and weird but she was also intelligent and beautiful. Griffin is a serious ex-muscian. He left that life behind when his daughter, Mabel, was born. He owns The Little Ray of Sunshine, a coffee cafe that Beth delivers her muffins to every Tuesday. Its the one day out of the week that they both look forward to. You can see the attraction these two have towards with each other straight away. The looks are smoldering. The flirting is sweet. But Griffin has a busy life. He's running his store and trying to be a great single father to Mabel. He's not sure he's got the time for a relationship. Beth doesn't do responsibility. Ever since her company went bankrupt. And dating a man with a child is RESPONSIBILITY in capital letters. She's not sure she's ready for that. But what these two don't count on is that when loves in the equation everything else gets thrown out the window. Until something scary happens and Griffin does what he thinks is the best for his daughter. He's been distracted between running his business, raising Mabel and being in a relationship with Beth that he feels like he isn't being the best dad possible. So something has to go. Can't be his business. Can't be his daughter. Which leaves the one option he doesn't want to consider but does. Until he realizes he made a huge mistake. Beth loves Griffin. She understood his fear and there was nothing to forgive. But their love is tested once again when Griffin's past haunts the present. And Griffin learns a valuable lesson. Don't hide stuff from those you love.
I enjoyed this story from the beginning to the end. Kelly has done a fantastic job with a well written storyline that was sweet and heartwarming and characters that's are real and relatable. This is my first story by Kelly Eadon and I can say I will end up reading more from this author.
