*Just a note. The wrong name was uploaded for the heroine of this book. So I am going to put a strike through the wrong name and add the correct so there is no confusion on your part like there was on mine.*

Taken by the Jakhua Clan as a teen, 194 was stripped of his name, his identity, and his freewill, meticulously honed to be a ruthless, soulless killing machine, trained solely to spill blood and stop hearts. This is a role he resents with every fiber of his being, but one he embraces to gain back the precious leverage the Georgians wield as their weapon of control: his younger sister, 152.

Mzia  Zoya Kostava is in shock. After fleeing her mafia family's massacre in Georgia as a child, Mzia Zoya lives in secret, hiding from her enemies in the dark shadows of Manhattan. At age twenty-five, believing all her family is dead, word reaches Mzia Zoya that her brother Zaal is very much alive... and living with their family's greatest enemy: the Volkov Bratva in Brooklyn.

Yearning to be reunited with her beloved Zaal, Mzia Zoya risks her safety and anonymity for the brother she had mourned since childhood. But just as she reaches Zaal's apartment, Mzia Zoya is seized and taken captive by a strange man, who is strong, dark, and brutal... Unyielding, he demands her utter obedience as he locks her away in darkness. He is highly skilled in torture and inflicting pain, and demands to know everything about her brother Zaal and everything about her. He is a man that'll do anything to get what he wants.

Sometimes love requires the sacrifice and betrayal of those held most dear. But is finding one's true love worth committing the greatest sacrifice of all?

Man! These guys get to me every single time. 818, 221 and now 194 has left my heart a bloody mess. They make me want to nurture them and smother them in kisses. Seriously! So damaged. So tortured. But you can't help but love them.
Ravage is 194 and Zoya's story. I've been waiting for this one since I read the very last chapter in Reap. 194, also known as Valentine, is an assassin for Mistress. She's also got his sister 152. Except 152 was turned into a sex slave. In order for 194 to see his sister he must complete his hits. His latest hit is Zaal Kostava, formerly known as 221. Mistress wants him taken out because he killed her lover. Once the hit is complete 194 may see his sister again. Shouldn't be a problem for him. He's the bringer of pain. He's well versed in torture. Except Zaal is too heavily protected so 194 kidnaps someone who means something to him.
Thus, begins the torture of Zoya. But Zoya is brave. She's strong. And she loves. She loves her brother enough not to let 194 break her and she begins to love Valentine enough to see the man underneath the monster.
The love story between these two is as much beautiful as it is heartbreaking. To see Valentine so destroyed because of what the Jakhau Clan have turned him into. To watch him as he feels unworthy of Zoya's love.

Valentin’s forehead fell onto my shoulder, and he admitted in a hushed voice, “I’m not only scarred on the outside, kotyonok; I’m scarred on the inside: my mind , my heart, and my soul.”

To watch him as he struggles to pick between the two women he loves the most. It's definitely not an easy struggle to watch. But it makes you able to feel. To feel their love. To feel their pain.
But goodness! You have got to love Zoya. She loves that man with everything she is. She loves his scarred face and body. She loves his damaged mind and soul. And she makes him see it. She makes him see that he is worth her love.

I had survived the massacre that took my family, but lying here, I realized that the years spent away in hiding I was simply existing. And it took a monster to revive my heart. It took a killer to touch my soul.

Not only is their love story amazing but the chemistry these two bring to the table is off the charts. It makes you squirm. It can make you moan. It can make you combust.

My hands fought to push Valentin away, the feel of him licking me there too much to stand. But the killer within him rose from the ashes. The assassin, the dominant monster, took control and with a strong hand pressed on my chest. The strength of his hand pushed me back to the mattress, the action keeping me pinned to the bed as the flat of his tongue slowly and teasingly lapped against me.

Tillie Cole has written yet another superb book. The writing is flawless and the storyline was on point and flowed easily. I will say that there are some aspects in this story that some people may not be comfortable reading. But to that, I also say, you should read it and judge for yourself if its something you can handle or not. Last, I will say I am looking forward to 152's book. The teaser at the end has me wanting it in my hands tomorrow.

I received an ARC from Net Galley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation with the author or publisher.
